This idea that Record Store Day 2026 supports indie record shops is A joke. One might even say it's A Killing Joke as they kill off the profit margin of many small record shop owners

Small Business who otherwise would support RSD 2026, such as Current Phonograph, aren't offered the opportunity to supply Record Store Day 2026 releases, simply because we're too small & unable to afford commercial real estate retail space. CP are real indie, as distinct from major labels whose poser A&R cunt pose as indie labels, Reality is they're Universal Music Group, Hollywood Records (Disney), & Warner Music Group. Baa!

Record Store Day 2026 is Saturday April 18th, & CP will participate, albeit, on our own terms despite these Majors efforts to tower over & stifle our small business.
